Polish supermodel Anja Rubik is a citizen of the world. Spending her formative years between Poland, Greece, Canada and South Africa, Anja began walking the runways of Paris, Milan and New York. Shortly after, she received her big break: a Chloé campaign photographed by Inez and Vinoodh.

In addition to her seven years as the face of Chloé, Anja has fronted campaigns for Gucci, shot by Mert and Marcus. FENDI, where Anja is one of Karl Lagerfeld’s most recognizable muses. Over her long career Rubik has worked for Chanel, Dior, Estee Lauder, Valentino, Balmain and Hermès. Most recently, Anja helped launch the career of Saint Laurent Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello where she continues to be the inspiration behind his designs. With her uncompromising eye, Anja partnered with Giuseppe Zanotti to release a line of shoes inspired by her favorite musicians, David Bowie and Debbie Harry.

Anja has covered over twenty-five international editions of Vogue, shot by photographers including Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel and Solve Sundsbo. Porter Magazine, Self Service, i-D Magazine, W Magazine and Lui Magazine are all a part of Anja’s cover repertoire. A multi-talented entrepreneur and television personality, Anja independently launched her fragrance, Original by Anja Rubik, and co-founded 25 Magazine, an annual tome that ‘celebrates the sensuality of strongminded women in fashion and arts’ where Anja acts as Editor-in-Chief. Anja additionally hosts Project Runway Poland and is a recurring star of Poland’s Next Top Model.

Off-duty, Anja has a personal interest in the Arts and curated the Art & Fashion Forum, an open platform of inspiration and education. She was also invited to lead panel discussions for the 2016 Istanbul International Arts and Culture Festival. In recognition of her global entrepreneurial and philanthropic experience, she has served on the Board of Advisors at the Brooklyn Museum.

In 2017 Rubik accepted the role of Creative Consultant and Ambassador for Parley and works tirelessly with the organization to bring global campaigns to life about ocean awareness and sustainability. In the same year, she founded a sex education campaign in her country of origin, Poland, citing a void in the current curriculum that could not be responsibly ignored. Over the years Anja has been a figure that has transcended the fashion world into social and environmental issues in many forums and different platforms; her consistent clarity of thought and moral courage has become universally respected.

For the Spring Summer 2018 season, Anja continues her role as campaign face of Saint Laurent, appears on covers for Self Service and Purple Fashion, stars in November’s French Vogue and has most recently launched the world’s first eco-responsible lipstick in association with La Bouche Rouge.
